The notice of the 18th Hamburg primary-school chess day, issued by the chess committee of the Hamburg education authority, gives Saturday 18 April 2026 at the Grund- und Stadtteilschule Alter Teichweg: seven Swiss rounds in two groups at 15 minutes per player, open to every pupil of a Hamburg primary school. The result tables of the 2026 edition rank the players after round 7. The youth federation's school-chess page calls the day the championship of Hamburg's primary schools and has the next one scheduled for 17 April 2027.
