Clubs with children's and youth chess 20

Many Hamburg clubs open their rooms to children and juniors before the adults arrive. The Schachgruppe Süderelbe in Neugraben starts its youth group at 17:15 on Fridays, the Niendorfer TSV at 17:00, Königsspringer at 15:00 and the Schachklub Marmstorf at 16:30; on Thursdays SV Diagonale Harburg has children and youth from 16:30 and the Pinneberger Schachclub from 16:45. SV Lurup runs children's and youth chess on Tuesdays outside the school holidays, and the Mümmelmannsberger SV has its juniors from 17:00.

School-linked clubs belong here too: the Schachklub Johanneum Eppendorf meets at the Wilhelm-Gymnasium and the Schachgemeinschaft Wichernschule holds a youth hour on Wednesdays. TuRa Harksheide in Norderstedt says it trains girls and boys from the age of five on weekdays, and the Bergstedter Schachklub reports a youth member qualified for a German youth championship.
