Monday is a quieter chess night in Hamburg, but a few rooms are busy. The Hamburger Schachklub keeps an evening for seniors at 19:00 on Schellingstraße and holds its blitz tournament there on the first Monday of each month. The Schachclub Diogenes meets from 18:30 in a day centre on Fahrenkamp, and the Schach-Club Farmsen plays in the common room of the Max-Brauer-Heim from 19:00.
SV Eidelstedt starts earlier, with a club afternoon at 17:30 in its sports centre on Redingskamp. Beyond the city line, the chess department of SV Großhansdorf meets on Mondays at 19:00 in the DRK building on Papenwisch.
